留之助ファミリーも参加のBewitching II開催

去年、Kathie Olivas（キャシー・オリヴァス）とBrandt Peters（ブラント・ピータース）がキュレイターを務め、大いに話題を集めたハロウィン・テーマのグループ展『Bewitching（ビウィチング=魔法にかける）』が、今年も彼らのギャラリー・ショップStranger Factoryで開催される。
で、今回のパート2のお楽しみはT+CPの日本チーム、goccodoの田中茂太君とMirock Toyの金子洋平君をはじめ、ARTDENKAの塚谷諭君やウチの榎本店長も、キャシーやブラントのフィギュアをプラットフォームに、腕によりをかけたカスタム作品を出品すること、じつに楽しみなのだ。
ちなみに下の画像はBewitching IIのために怪奇幻想画家Gris Grimly（グリス・グリムリー）が描き下ろした『Beneath The Sheet（シーツの下）』。Stranger Factory is excited to announce the line-up for "Bewitching II", the gallery's second annual Halloween-themed group art show! Owners Brandt Peters & Kathie Olivas have long drawn inspiration in their own work from their love of Halloween...the candy, the monsters, and the gloriously cheap plastic toys and costumes they treasured as children. It's with this in mind that they have asked more than thirty of their friends and peers to create new works to celebrate their shared love of Halloween.
The roster of internationally acclaimed artists contributing to the show includes such lowbrow luminaries as Jason Limon, Joel Nakamura, Andrew Bell, Ragnar, Gris Grimly, Chris Ryniak, Ferg, Sean Mahan, Amanda Louise Spayd, Shigeta Tanaka, Yohei Kaneko, Satoshi Tsukaya, Enomoto-tencho (aka ENO) and many more! Artworks will range from paintings to sculptures to mixed media of all kinds, with a range of prices suitable for all collectors.
