バック・ロジャースの流線型ロケット第2弾、出来！

今年2月7日のポストで詳述したので、そちらを見てほしい。
ようは1929年に発表されたフィリップ・フランシス・ノーラン原作、ディック・コーキング作画の一世を風靡した新聞連載コミックにして奇抜デザインの宝庫『Buck Rogers（バック・ロジャース）』に登場した様々な流線型ロケット・シップの完全立体化シリーズの、宇宙遊覧ロケット・シップ・アスタライトに次ぐ第2弾、バトル・クルーザーが完成したのだ。
前作同様レジン製完成モデルで、サイズもほとんど同じの長さ28センチ、バック・ロジャースのロゴ入りディスプレイ・スタンドに載る。
それにしても80年以上もまえのことだよ、25世紀の宇宙時代を空想しながらこんな楽しい乗り物を考え出したディック・コーキングっていう漫画家は、つくづく天才だと思う。
今回、バトル・クルーザーの予約を募るついでに、前作のアスタライトも再度予約を受け付けることにした。

Distinguished by its bullet shape and porthole windows, the Cruiser also sports front and rear gun turrets, and a main gun on the top. Mounted on its own custom resin base with raised "Buck Rogers and the 25th Century" logo.
