これは大当たりの展覧会になりそうだ

留之助の広報活動で手一杯の店主ブログだけれど、何はさておきこれだけは紹介したくなったのだった。
たまに店主も利用させてもらっているLAのギャラリーHCG（Hero Complex Gallery）で、5月24日から"KINGS OF CULT: An Art Tribute to Roger Corman and Joe Dante"が開催されるのだ。
つまりB級映画のEmperor of ProducerとKing of Directorであり、師弟関係でもあるロジャー・コーマンとジョー・ダンテに捧げられるアートショー。
ショーの前日にはふたりの代表作の上映会やQ&Aがあったり、ショーではゆかりの映画のプロップなども飾られる模様。
1980年代のハリウッドでふたりにすっかりお世話になった店主としては行きたいんだけどなぁ・・・。I have a blog that I have my hands full with for advertising Tomenosuke, but I wanted to let you know about this one thing.
At the Gallery HCG in LA, where I myself sometimes go shopping, they are holding "KINGS OF CULT: An Art Tribute to Roger Corman and Joe Dante" on May 24th. In other words, it is an art show celebrating the mentor and student Roger and Joe, the emperor of producer and the king of director of B movies.
On the day before the show, there will be a screening of major works of the two and a Q&A, and it appears that the show will be decorated with props etc. from connected films.
They did a lot for me in the 1980s, so I would like to go...
