ついにマウスケティア・アーミー、集結

all Mouseketeer Army to gatherLAのショップ兼メーカーの3DRetroからリリースされたボブ・ダブのマウスケティア・アーミーは4人のメンバーで構成され、一般小売店に卸されたのは最初のウィル版と最終のデビル・ロック版だけ。
あとはイベント限定で、おいそれとは手に入らず、売れ残った分は3DRetroのみで直販された。
幸運にもDCon 2013限定のデス版は、2年前に現地買付けで数個持ち帰り、店主のコレクション分を残して即完売。
SDCC 2014限定のモヒカン野郎リバティ版だけが手に入らずじまいだった。
3DRetroのオンライン・ショップで売られた形跡もなく、ほとんど諦めていたら、なんとバーバンクの3DRetroの倉庫の奥にデス版とともに埋もれているのを発見、この度、持ち帰ったというわけである。

They were successful in taking over Tom Sawyer's Island for a "smoke-in," taunted guests with their chants of anarchy, and attempted to raise their flag at city hall. Mickey Mouse and friends were under attack. But from this event arose The Mouseketeer Army. They battled back to defeat the oppressive ideologies of the Yippies who's only objective was for Disneyland to cease to exist. The Mouseketeer Army is the last hope to preserve the Magic Kingdom.



スケティア・アーミー物語
話は1970年8月6日にさかのぼる。
イッピー（Yippies）こと、過激派の青年国際党(Youth International Party=YIP) が権力層に対する反逆と抗議の手段としてディズニーランドに攻め入り、戦争がはじまった。
イッピーたちはスモーク・イン（マリファナ自由化要求集会）のためにトムソーヤ島を占拠、同党のアナーキーなスローガンで、ディズニーランドの入園者をなじり、市役所に自分たちの旗を掲げようとした。
ミッキーマウスや彼のお友だちは攻撃にさらされたのである。
しかし、この出来事によってマウスケティア・アーミーが結成されたのだった。
ディズニーランドを消滅させることだけが目的というイッピーの抑圧的なイデオロギーを打ち負かすために、彼らは反撃をしかけた。
マウスケティア・アーミーは、マジック・キングダムを守りり抜く最後の望みなのである。
