FURTHER NEWS: 3D SURGICAL FACE MASK artist series

留之助らしからぬ健全なテーマで挑みました。
というわけでデザイナー・マスク第1弾は、Sket-Oneのイラスト "Mayumi" をフューチャーしています。
元は、LAカルバーシティにある同名のデザイナー・ホテルの白い壁面に描かれたミューラルです。
マスクはオリジナルカラーのブラック・オン・ホワイトを含む5色構成で、各色2枚ずつの10枚セットになります。
ちなみに2年前、噂を聞いてマユミ・ホテルに宿泊しました。
隅から隅まで美しくデザインされた心をくすぐるお洒落なホテルでした。
ちょっと部屋は狭かったけれど、ロビーからつづくラウンジや、南カリフォルニアの陽光ふりそそぐパティオで過ごしたひとときは忘れられません。
フレンドリーなスタッフに "マユミ" のいわれを聞いたところ、オーナーの奥様の名前だということでした。
コロナ禍が収束し、LAに出かけられるようになったら、ぜひまた泊まりたいホテルです。Healthy and cheerful. Unlike anything Tomenosuke has done in the past, we approached this with a healthy theme. Without further ado, let's take a look at the first version of the designer mask, with Sket-One's illustration, "Mayumi." It is based on the mural that is depicted on the white wall of "Mayumi" a designer hotel in Culver City, LA.
There are five colors, including original black-on-white color, and comes in a set of 10 with two of each color.
By the way, I first heard about Mayumi Hotel 2 years ago and stayed there for few nights. It is a stylish hotel with every inch designed beautifully. The room was a little small, but I will never forget the lounge that continued from the lobby and the moments I spent on the patio where I basked in the warm sunlight of Southern California. When I asked the friendly staff why the hotel was named "Mayumi," they told me that it was the name of the owner's wife. Once the COVID-19 calamity is resolved and we can go to LA again, I am thinking of staying there again.
