This is the Thomas Nosuke Gin-Kyo version by Liberty Tokyo

Doktor A's Thomas Nosuke arrived from Liberty Tokyo having been reborn. Below, I have written my impressions on the Gin-Kyo (silver-mirror) paint version of Thomasu Nosuke.
At the time, the only knowledge I had was that hard electroplating was suited to metal parts, whereas vacuum plating was suited to other parts. So, I genuinely thought that vacuum plating could be used on Sofubi, but with hollow and soft materials, it turns out that it is easy for them to crack if this is used on them, thus I was told using such plating was not recommended. It was this that made me notice all the chrome figures that I had seen and handed until now that were crack and twist-free were made of hard plastic. Just when I had given up on the idea of giving Sofubi a chrome plating, I was introduced to Liberty Tokyo.

And now I have the Gin-Kyo paint Thomas Nosuke. I was quite simply moved by the cloud-free even and smooth shine. At first glance, it looks like a fine plated finish, but such a beautiful gradation is impossible with plating. Further, there is deeper and different. It seemed like it would suck me in. It was almost like an optical illusion that saw I fall into the never-ending abyss of space. This mystery is precisely the skill that comes with Gin-Kyo painting. The soft body that Sofubi has also seems to be a contributing factor. In contrast to the dry look that coated plastic figures have, I feel like Sofubi's warmth glows through this Gin-Kyo paint. It can be said that this is a completely new creation in which Liberty Tokyo brought the life of color luster to Thomas Nosuke.
I asked Liberty Tokyo to make several more with the same coloring for sale. Thomas Nosuke fans, please look forward to it.
